Elliot Feuerstein is an accomplished real estate developer and manager of several shopping centers. A philanthropist and civic leader, Elliot Feuerstein worked on the fundraising committee for the Women’s Health Center at Sharp Hospital in San Diego, CA. His children were born at Sharp Hospital and he has been honored to help raise funds for its continued service to the residents of San Diego.

The Sharp Hospital Women’s Health Center offers infant and child CPR classes twice a month at a cost of $20 for community members. Intended for parents, grandparents, babysitters, and daycare providers, the course covers life support skills to assist infants and children up to 7 years of age who are choking or experiencing breathing difficulties or heart problems.

Following the American Heart Association curriculum, participants in the course watch a video and then get hands-on CPR practice on a mannequin. Although no test or credential is given, students learn proper techniques through instructor feedback. For more information, visit www.sharp.com.
